I just wanna say SCREW all the girls who say things like...

MAKEUP IS FOR UGLY PEOPLE
Every girl that said that, is probably a man anyway! Makeup has to be one of the funnest parts of being a girl!
I think so anyway && judging by my friends whom share this same love with me (Jen, Mel, Christina, Amanda, etc.) i think they'd agree. Even my friend Asia who swore she'd never wear makeup lovesss it to this day. So ladies DON'T KNOCK IT TILL YOU'VE TRIED IT! I can easily go out the house without makeup, && I feel beautiful with or without it. I just feel boring && if you know me, im far from boring! I HATE BORING! && fashion && makeup should be expressions of self! Beauty isn't skin deep && i'm glad I've come to that realization unlike many young woman in this world. Its true though, Trust me I know some pretty girls who are truly the ugliest creatures, because of how they act. But i also know the most amazing woman, who have the self esteem level of a ugly duckling. Sometimes people just need a push. Everybody has those days where they just wake up && feel like ish, but try adding some red lipstick or even just a little eyeshadow, && i promise your mood will turn right around! Nobody just wakes up looking sexy && how you look relfects on the way you feel.
Speaking of RED LIPSTICK...ii'm in search of the PERFECT red lip! I was watching the NOTEBOOK for the billionth time tonight && Rachel McAdams always has the perfect red lip! && Beyonce for better comparison to my own skin complextion. I think everyone && anyone could pull off red no matter what your complextion, its just finding that perfect Shade!




&& these two have def found it, im sure with the help of amazing makeup artists,(FYI did you know Rachel's sister is a makeup artist, that does her makeup for many of the films she played in) but thats what the makeup ladies at Makeup counters are supposed to be there for!

Anyways,tomorrow I'm supposed to be going on a field trip with my friend Tina to SEPHORA = <3 I can't wait! I been checkin' out NARS products lately && im slowly following off the M.A.C. wagon, after seeing all these bomb reviews comparing M.A.C. product to NARS products! Although NARS is a little pricey (not saying M.A.C. isn't) I will be compiling a good Christmas list, with all the goodies I hope to find tomorrow!

So this is LOVE....

OMG I could watch the Valentino RTW Spring 2010 Paris show over && over && over again && NEVER get sick of it. I love how there was nothing RED in the show, but it still gave that romantic ambience that Valentina is known for. I don't know about you, but did you see the shoes. && the leather && lace combination LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE!
BRAVO Maria Grazia Chiuri && Pier Paolo Piccioli! Besides Valentino McQueen's show was a huge hit && iit blew me away. McQueen is so McQueen lol! && thers been lots of talk about Louis, but ii didn't love it! But thats just me!

I can't let this week end without introducing this week's newest upcomming designer pick!
Well this week ii been hella busy in school, not letting anything slip this quarter! So sorry for the lateness, but this one hits kinda close to home! Sooo I have this good friend from Jersey named Khalid...




...whom happens to be attending the Ai in Philly right along with my God sissy Naja! But Khalid && a bunch of his friends got together && started their own clothing line based out of Philly. Founded by JonnyRabbit, PandaReemy, and CoolCalmCoon back in late fall of 2007. Now what ii love about this group is that they got someone from pretty much each major to make this all come together, like Khalid who is a graphic designer/contributor, who is also supposed to be helping me put together my LOGO for my upcomming line (EHHHHEMMMMMMMMMM)! We'll see what goodies we can come up with, when ii go to Jersey next week = D

Today was a BAD day

Ohkay ii don't even want to talk about how horrible today was wait ii was actually going to sum it up but i just looked at the clock && it is now 12:06am. Soo its a NEW DAY! && lets start today off by giving you lil sneaker heads a peak at this new NIKE SB commercial with the cutie (wish they had sk8ters like this in MIAMI) P. Rod && infamous Kobe bryant... in "Today was a Good Day"
Speaking of skaters! Last weekend I attended Red Bull Manny Mania, (Manny is a term for some really tricky skate trick) because my Sales Promotion teacher is the head marketing manager of Red Bull North America. Sooo most of our hw assignments this quarter are to attend some of Red Bulls local events! Most of them are STREET style events && yuh know iima be down for every get down!The event was Really chill. They had a bomb dj playin all the throwbacks like Ahmad, && A Tribe called quest type shxt = D for the soundtrack for all the skaters to take the ramp to! Now going into the event ii really wasnt much of a skate board fan! But leaving was a whole other story. I LOVE it! Not saying that I would ever probably try getting back on one after the many times i've busted my @$$ when i was younger, but it made me appreciate the sport as more of an art && it also gave me the hots for some of the guys ; ] BURT ii love you <3 Here are a few flix from the event.


Tomorrow there are no events but im probably going to go to the beach && just lay out && work on hw ALL DAY! But NEXT saturday I will be assisting my styling teacher at the Teen Vogue fashion show at MACY's! Kinda excited for that! I don't want to make this a MAJOR long post so ima save all the other goodies for later = D
